Mechanica Advisory

Complex organizations don't slow down.Your thinking has to keep up.

Executive coaching for leaders who operate in high-stakes, high-complexity environments — and want to lead with more precision, clarity, and intention.

Mechanica Advisory — building systems thinkers who lead with precision.

About Mechanica Advisory

Most leadership coaches come from one of two places: the academic or the practitioner. The theorist who has studied leadership extensively, or the operator who has lived it. I've spent my career being both — and that combination is the foundation of how I coach.

I hold graduate degrees from MIT in engineering systems and an MBA, and I've spent over a decade applying that thinking inside one of the world's most complex organizations — leading global teams, building operating models, and working at the intersection of strategy and large-scale execution where the problems are never clean and the stakes are always real.

What MIT taught me — and what years of operating at scale confirmed — is that the most powerful thing a leader can develop is a rigorous mental model for how systems work. Not just their org chart or their P&L, but the actual underlying structure: why things are happening, where the leverage points are, and what needs to change to get a different outcome. The challenge is that the environments where that thinking matters most are often the ones that make it hardest to access — the speed, the competing demands, the constant pressure to react. Building the habit of thinking that way, even when everything around you is moving fast, is one of the highest-leverage things a leader can do.

A coach helped me build it at a pivotal moment in my own career — someone who pushed my thinking, challenged my assumptions, and helped me see what was possible when I stopped reacting to complexity and started architecting through it. That experience changed how I lead. I started Mechanica Advisory to offer the same kind of rigorous, honest partnership to others — the senior leader who wants a real thinking partner, and the rising leader who wants to build that foundation before they need it.

Executive coaching for complex environments

This isn't general leadership development. It's precise, structured coaching grounded in how complex organizations actually work — and how the best leaders learn to think inside them.

We work on three things together:

Your operating model as a leader. How you take in information, make decisions, allocate your attention, and show up for your team. Most leaders have never made this explicit — doing so is one of the highest-leverage things you can build.

Systems thinking as a leadership skill. The ability to see structure, anticipate second-order effects, and understand why things are happening — not just what is happening. This is trainable, and it changes how you lead permanently.

Leveraging your strengths at scale. Understanding what you uniquely bring — and building the conditions where that's what you're doing most of the time.

Leaders operating at the edge of complexity

Mechanica Advisory is built for two kinds of leaders:

Senior executives inside large, complex organizations who want a rigorous thinking partner — someone who has operated at that level and can offer perspective that is practical, direct, and grounded in real experience.

High-potential leaders earlier in their careers who want to build the mental architecture now — so that when the complexity increases, they're already equipped to lead through it.

"The leaders who thrive in complexity aren't the ones who work the hardest to manage it. They're the ones who have built the clearest model for thinking inside it."

Let's talk about what you're navigating.

The first conversation is a genuine one — about where you are, what you're trying to build, and whether this is the right fit. No pitch. No pressure.
